6324. Sam & Dave - Don't Pull Your Love Out On Me Baby

From: Soul Study Volume 2; Year: 1982 (1971); Genre: Soul
Last night I saw a news headline stating that half of the legendary soul duo Sam & Dave, Sam Moore, passed away. He follows his bandmate, Dave Prater, who tragically died in an auto accident back in 1988. To say these two titans of music left a footprint on music and pop culture is a huge understatement. Even to this day you will hear their hits being played everywhere, from radio, television, film, video games and more.
Anyway, I have always loved the original by Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds, but really love Sam & Dave's rendition with it being drenched in the emotional fire that is their brand of soul.
