Have had Cameo on the brain a lot lately; just some excellent music from some truly talented musicians. Whilst this track has less of their funky sound from their popular tracks of the time, it is just a great song to sit back and listen to, especially with a good set of headphones on. From: In a Sentimental Mood ; Year: 1989; Genre: Swing/Big Band Jazz Had this song on my mind since yesterday; quite a catchy and upbeat track to say the least. This one is a standard from during the height of The War, originally written by Harold Arlen and Johnny Mercer. From wot I understand the title and main idea of the song was borrowed from a sermon by a popular preacher at the time, Father Divine , which translated very well into an upbeat song. They might've been one of the preeminent alternative rock bands, but their influences really came through on this one.
