6331. Judas Priest - Better Than You, Better Than Me
![]() |
From: Stained Class; Year: 1978; Genre: Metal |
Was enjoying some Judas Priest last night whilst driving home, you can probably guess the rest.
This track is a Spooky Tooth cover that became more infamous from people worrying about hidden messages in metal music than any aspect in and of itself. Ah yes, the whole "Satanic Panic," PMRC, and the ilk; people pushing their ideologies seemingly pop up at least once every generation. Kind of funny if you think about it, but if they were supposedly worrying about subliminal messages, they'd be focusing on advertising, but I digress.
Anyway, I really love what they did with it all around; really made the song all theirs more or less.
