I had not re-visited Queensrÿche or this album in a long time, so I thought I should rectify it.
Last Night in Paris originally comes from the motion picture soundtrack from The Adventures of Ford Fairlane, but was later included on reissues of Empire. I vaguely recall the movie, but I do not believe that I ever actually saw it. At least we got a good new song out of it!

This one is a standard from during the height of The War, originally written by Harold Arlen and Johnny Mercer. From wot I understand the title and main idea of the song was borrowed from a sermon by a popular preacher at the time, Father Divine , which translated very well into an upbeat song. From: Automatic for the People ; Year: 1992; Genre: Alternative Rock Gosh, this one really rattles some memories loose for me, not only was it from my pivotal early teenage years, but it was also quite the piece of music and quite popular; rightly so. They might've been one of the preeminent alternative rock bands, but their influences really came through on this one.
