Yet another one I have not heard in a very long time started playing in my mind a couple of days ago and has been there a lot ever since.
You would be forgiven for believing this one was from the Motown hit factory, but it was not, but rather a really well-done song in the style. The Motown songwriting powerhouse Holland-Dozier-Holland noticed as well and took issue with it sounding too much like the Supremes' b-side Ask Any Girl for their liking and ended up settling for 15% of the royalties as well as being listed as co-authors.
