6746. Lou Rawls - Ready or Not?

From: Close Company; Year: 1984; Genre: Soul/Funk
Had a bunch of Lou Rawls' songs on my mind today; this is one I truthfully thought I had already picked, but it is understandable with how much I play this song in particular. I have said it before, but for me, no matter the track, Lou Rawls' voice is one of the most comforting. It's just a bonus that this one has that funky bumping rhythm that makes you want to get up and face the world.
