2663 Ian Anderson - The Engineer
From: Homo Erraticus; Year: 2014; Genre: Progressive Rock |
This is one of my favourites from the album; it reminds me a lot of his mid 1970s sound, which is one of the highest points of the band. Anyway, this one comes from the first (Chronicles) section of the concept album and more or less in just over three minutes gives a feeling of a single person, and engineer during Britain's industrial age on to the modern age. The best part of this song is the music by far; it was exquisitely put together.
