5739. Wayne Shorter - Blues a la Carte

From: Introducing Wayne Shorter; Year: 1960; Genre: Hard Bop
Legendary jazz composer and musician Wayne Shorter passed away a couple of days ago; his contribution to not only jazz in but music as a whole cannot be overstated. I thought I would choose one from his albums as a bandleader today, from his debut album as well. Blues a la Carte was the first track, (as well as the title-track on some releases), that you'd hear when playing the record the first time.
