Another song just happened to pop into my mind once again that I had not heard in a very long while; this monster early 1960s hit made famous by The Exciters. Whilst not originating with the group, they definitely made quite a mark with it; Tell Him features many sounds and musical ideas that would become mainstays of the Soul, R&B, and other associated genres throughout the '60s, '70s, and on. It's very much without a doubt a song for the ages.
