5961. Journey - Anytime

From: Infinity; Year: 1978; Genre: Rock
Definitely a transition album for the band, Infinity marked the beginning of the Steve Perry era of the band, which would launch Journey's career into high orbit. Anytime is my favourite track from the record and really symbolically shows that turning point with how it begins with Gregg Rolie performing lead vocals and at about the one-and-a-half minute mark Steve Perry takes over in grand fashion. It's just an excellent song all around; a true classic without a doubt.
