For some reason I was drawing a blank when thinking about the song I was to pick today, but as luck would have it when I sat down to make my choice The Mamas and the Papas started playing in my mind. I also realized that I hadn't picked one of their songs yet and since I've always liked the band and Cass Elliot's vocals in particular it was a good match.
Most people who listen to music from the time period should recognize this early hit even thought it wasn't the most popular from the album; there is definitely a time to listen to some good 'ol fashioned sunshine Pop.
