From: School Days; Year: 1976; Genre: Jazz Fusion/Funk
If my counting is correct, (although sometimes it's not), this is my 100th consecutive Funky Friday since I started doing a Funky Friday on every Friday almost two years ago.
Anyway, to mark the occasion I thought I would pick one from bassist/composer extraordinaire Stanley Clarke, who since I picked up the bass guitar is one I've really grown to admire. This song has a really nice Latin-inspired beat combined with some great jazz/funk.

Hear The Dancer on YouTube.
