6020. Crash Test Dummies - The First Noel

From A Lump of Coal; Year: 1991; Genre: Traditional/Christmas Music
We're well into December now and with all of The Holidays approaching I thought I should make it a little more "Christmassy." At the same time I have had the music of the Crash Test Dummies on my mind, so why not combine the two?
Anyway, this one hails originally from the 1991 Christmas compilation A Lump of Coal, and later featured on the full CTD's Christmas album Jingle All the Way. I have to say, Brad Roberts' deep, bass vocals are perfect for this song with those resonating pedal notes; Ellen Reed balances perfect with him in the co-lead and harmony.
