1335 Blue Öyster Cult - Black Blade

1335 Blue Öyster Cult - Black Blade
From: Cultösaurus Erectus, Year: 1980

I've got Blue Öyster Cult on the brain this morning, so here's their song from the Cultösaurus Erectus album that pays homage to Michael Moorcock's Elric of Melniboné novels. This song is, of course, about Stormbringer, the legendary cursed black sword wielded by the stories' main character Elric; the narrative in this song is told from his point of view.
It's quite a neat track; everything you would expect from a BÖC song.

Hear Black Blade on YouTube.
