Been meaning to revisit the music of Jackyl for a while now, but just never got around to it for whatever reason, or maybe just no excuse for me not doing it.... Only have chosen one other song from them, and that was over 6000 songs ago; yeah I really have boned it bad.
Anyway, I went back to this album and decided on this rather whimsically-titled song. Reminds me a lot of AC/DC with the "balls to the wall" hard rock sound and especially Jesse James Dupree's vocals, which is in the style of Brian Johnson's.

This one is a standard from during the height of The War, originally written by Harold Arlen and Johnny Mercer. From wot I understand the title and main idea of the song was borrowed from a sermon by a popular preacher at the time, Father Divine , which translated very well into an upbeat song. They might've been one of the preeminent alternative rock bands, but their influences really came through on this one.
