For most of the morning this early '70s Pop/Rock track about a disenfranchised musician has been running through my mind; It's one of Albert Hammond's many hits that he scored to his name. He also collaborated and wrote hit songs for other big named acts as well; he is quite a prolific songwriter. His son, Albert Hammond Jr., is also a successful musician playing for the band The Strokes.
