5856. Jethro Tull - Seal Driver

From: The Broadsword and the Beast; Year: 1982; Genre: Progressive Rock/Hard Rock
Just for the sheer amount of great songs on the record, I have to say that Broadsword and the Beast is my favourite 'Tull album from the 1980s. I don't know if it was that I first bought the compact disc of it during my impressionable late teens or some other factor unbeknownst to myself, but there is always something I find interesting musically and/or lyrically about every track; even the ones that weren't released initially.
I really believe this track in particular embodies the overall transitory nature of the album in that it has some of elements that hearken back to the band's material of the '70s and some of the short-lived synth-heavy sound they had throughout the early to mid '80s.
