Busy day today and I really haven't a song in mind, but I was thinking about The Kinks and their music the other day and figured I would go ahead and pick one.
This is song that closes out their Low Budget album is kind of a part of the late 70s zeitgeists in that it's a rock track with some disco influence; but still pretty good though and a fun track to listen to.

This one is a standard from during the height of The War, originally written by Harold Arlen and Johnny Mercer. From wot I understand the title and main idea of the song was borrowed from a sermon by a popular preacher at the time, Father Divine , which translated very well into an upbeat song. Anyway, I have had this concept record by Paul Kantner and company on my mind off and on over the last bit and decided now would be a good time to choose another track from it. This is the "grand finale" of the "space opera" concept, which features a big group of who's who from the folk rock scene at the time contributing on this track and a few others. Starship features the lead guitar of the late-great Jerry Garcia, although you really wouldn't need to be told that because it is so obvious his sound and style.
