1109 The Steve Miller Band - Something Special
1109 The Steve Miller Band - Something Special
This track just popped into my mind last night and has not moved or gone away since, so I am picking it. This was one of the songs from The Steve Miller Band's electronic/pop era of the early/mid '80s; many of the bands from the '60s and '70s seemed to toy with that sound about that time. When one thinks of Steve Miller, a guitarist who was taught by Les Paul himself and has the moniker "Stevie "Guitar" Miller, you would expect more guitar centered music like his earlier Blues influenced music, however in this era the keyboards where the focus.
Anyway, this is one of the highlights for me off of the Abracadabra album; a nice rousing little poppy tune.
Apparently there is no version available online at this time, sorry.
