1696 Fleetwood Mac - Dragonfly

From: Greatest Hits, Year: 1990 (1971), Genre: Blues Rock/Psychedelic Rock
For some reason I had a hankering to listen to some Fleetwood Mac this morning; mostly from the earlier years. This song features the band as a three-piece with Danny Kirwan on guitar and vocals, Mick Fleetwood on drums, and John McVie on bass. The lyrics for the song were taken from a poem called "The Dragonfly" written by W.H. Davies, with music written by Danny Kirwan; which makes for a rather pretty piece of music.

Hear Dragonfly on YouTube.
