From: Wichita Lineman; Year: 1968; Genre: Country
The other day Glen Campbell passed away after his long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Whilst I've never been a huge fan of his music, I still like a lot of it and thought it would be good to pick one of the songs from the legendary musician/performer. This one was another hit recorded by the "Wrecking Crew," which Glen Campbell was a member of before he hit it big. One interesting fact about this song is that it essentially contains a bass solo; Glen Campbell borrowed Carol Kaye's bass and played on the solo.
