Yesterday music icon and television personality Dick Clark passed away. It's facile to say, but without him the popular music landscape of the last 50 years would've been much different; no one can doubt that the man helped to make a lot of rock stars over years.
There were actually quite a few songs from bands that appeared on his hit television show American Bandstand that I though about picking today, however in the end I thought that there was no better song to pick than the one he used as the show's theme.
