From: Album 1700; Year: 1967; Genre: Folk Rock
I had some of Peter, Paul & Mary's music on my mind last night and this morning; as always, I took it as a sign to pick a song from them.
I actually forgot that they originally did this song, which in the lyrics both honours and somewhat lampoons some popular bands and the industry at the time as well as bringing their honesty into question. But for me it's that great bass and acoustic guitar that really brings the track to my attention.
