6128. John Fogerty - Zanz Kant Danz
From: Centerfield; Year: 1985; Genre: Rock |
This is one of John Fogerty's infamous songs post CCR tenure where he lampooned the owner of his former label, which, of course ended up with a defamation lawsuit. Also, the historic suit where that owner claimed that his hit from this record: Old Man Down the Road copied parts from the CCR song Run Through the Jungle, which was also authored by John Fogerty. So, yes, Centerfield was quite a mess legally, but one of the landmark albums from the time with some great music.
