I'm still in the mood to listen to some badass guitar playing. This one, obviously, is a remake of Al Di Meola's classic Race with the Devil on Spanish Highway in a guitar duet between him and guitar maestro Steve Vai. This one also, as the title insinuates, has more of a middle eastern flavour musically. I love how they mostly kept a lot of the framework of the original whilst having two incredible virtuosos go at it. Yeah, it's enough technical playing to bring joy to a musician's or musical connoisseur's ear and at the same time make a hater types of extreme technical music run for cover.

Anyway, I have had this concept record by Paul Kantner and company on my mind off and on over the last bit and decided now would be a good time to choose another track from it. This is the "grand finale" of the "space opera" concept, which features a big group of who's who from the folk rock scene at the time contributing on this track and a few others.
