From: Recall the Beginning...a Journey From Eden; Year: 1972; Genre: Rock
Ever since I was young I've loved Steve Miller and co.'s music, but it wasn't until much later that I discovered the band's music prior to The Joker; these earlier albums have become definite favourites of mine, this one in particular. This track is a bit "poppier" than most of his early hard rock/blues rock material, but has a lot of interesting aspects as well. From the call-and-response echo in the verses to the mix of acoustic guitar and the heavier rhythm really makes it quite unique.
