5604. Marillion - Blind Curve
From: Misplaced Childhood; Year: 1985; Genre: Progressive Rock |
Another new month begins, and thus it's now November....
I cannot remember the last song I chose from Marillion without looking it up, and I had them on my mind a lot lately, so here's one from one of my top five favourite records from the band. This is one of three tracks on the album that have multiple "sub-songs" with Blind Curve containing five: i) Vocal Under Bloodlight, ii) Passing Strangers, iii) Mylo, iv) Perimeter Walk, and v) Threshold. Whilst being at just under 10 minutes in length in total, this one is actually quite accessible to a casual listener while still being very intricate musically.
