5810. The Eagles - New Kid in Town
From: Hotel California; Year: 1976; Genre: Country Rock/Soft Rock |
I used to listen to this band a lot back in the day, I do not really know why I haven't really felt the compulsion to put their music on, just not been in the mood for it I guess or I just got tired of it, who knows?
Anyway, New Kid in Town used to be one of those "guilty pleasures" for myself that I'd enjoy kicking back and relaxing to with headphones on. I really believe that at this point The Eagles were at their peak creatively and it shows; sure, there are excellent classic track recorded prior and after, but the songs written around Hotel California in my opinion were some of the best they ever recorded.
