5927. The Fabulous Thunderbirds - Stand Back

From: Hot Number; Year: 1987; Genre: Blues Rock/Soul
Thought that I'd revisit The Fabulous Thunderbirds again with this cool and rather soul-drenched piece of bluesy rock. You can tell without a doubt that this song was influenced by the likes of Sam & Dave amongst other '60s soul legends. The only thing for me personally that I find "wanting" about this track is the dry vocal mix; no "fizz" or sparkle to it, just kinda flat vocals.
