I tell ya what, I think I know why for certain this track was not released on a main studio album: just way too weird. The song reminds me a lot of Charles Mingus' music from the late 50s and well into the 60s, mostly the free-form/experimental jazz with multiple instruments seemingly playing different melodies that sound like an unintelligible cacophony to those that are not used to those forms of jazz and masters such as Mingus.
