I can remember when this album full of covers was released; it seemed as if a lot of bands and solo artists were making these all around that time.
Anyway, this is a cover of the popular mainstay southern rock track from Lynyrd Skynyrd that not only features Metallica, but Skynyrd band member Gary Rossington, as well as Jerry Cantrell, Pepper Keenan, Sean Kinney, John Popper, Les Claypool, and Jim Martin.

Okay, What is this "Song a Day Blog?" Well, this is a hobby of mine that I have been at for over 18 years now, (since September First, 2007), in which I set aside a few minutes every day to create my ultimate playlist in a diary form, if you will. I try to add a different song each day and share with those who are interested as to why I like the song and the artist that performed it and/or maybe some facts about them.
