From: Glorified Magnified; Year: 1972; Genre: Rock
I was going through some old files on my computer concerning my Song a Day Blog, which I've been doing now for over 8 years, and found my old "queue" of potential picks that I used to turn to when I got stuck. I happened to find that one of the oldest ones on the list was a song from Manfred Mann's Earth Band.
Anyway, after checking it out I discovered that, one of the bands I really like, Manfred Mann, hadn't graced my list in almost 2900 picks and the Earth Band even longer, so I definitely had to pick one. I love what they did with this song originally penned and recorded by Bob Dylan and covered many of times; it's got the original feel, but with a harder rock edge.
