Had Savatage on the brain last night and thought it would be a great idea to pick one.
This instrumental is essentially used as the overture to the title track. They do their own metal rendition of parts of Gustav Holst's Mars, the Bringer of War at the beginning and finishes with the melody of Edvard Grieg's theme to In the Hall of the Mountain King from Peer Gynt.

738 ( The Allman Brothers Band - In Memory of Elizabeth Reed ) I am need of some Allman Brothers music this morning and I remembered this nice Jazz Fusion track from their Idlewild South album. What is so awesome about the earlier Allman Brothers music is the fact that they had not one, but two guitar legends in the group. This instrumental was an excellent vehicle for showcasing both Duane Allman's and Richard "Dickey" Betts' amazing skills on the guitar. From: In a Sentimental Mood ; Year: 1989; Genre: Swing/Big Band Jazz Had this song on my mind since yesterday; quite a catchy and upbeat track to say the least. This one is a standard from during the height of The War, originally written by Harold Arlen and Johnny Mercer. From wot I understand the title and main idea of the song was borrowed from a sermon by a popular preacher at the time, Father Divine , which translated very well into an upbeat song. From: Stardust (soundtrack) ; Year: 1974; Genre: Rock Apparently this song came was the title-track to the film of the same name, which Essex starred along side Keith Moon, David Edmunds, Adam Faith, and Larry Hagman amongst others. It apparently centered around a fictional group call the Stray Cats, (not to be confused with the real-life rockabilly band led by Brian Setzer), throughout the turbulent 1960 and the trials and such that went along with the characters.
