I've still been bingeing on this at least 8-volume set of rare funk and related genres of music. Again, I know next-to-nothing about the band or when or where it was recorded, just absolutely love the music. This is, of course, the often-recorded hit track from George Gershwin's masterpiece Porgy and Bess, but this one's done in a very interesting funk flavoured swing jazz style; very unique if I do say so myself.
