5546. Cab Calloway and His Orchestra - Minnie the Moocher

From: Minnie the Moocher; Year: 1931; Genre: Swing Jazz
Cab Calloway's music was on my mind since last night whilst we had a power outage; I thought I would choose another one of his songs today. This is without a doubt his greatest hit and the song he is most known for. Even without seeing his stage presence while listening to it, he projects so well with his vocals with the playful scatting and call-and-response with the band listening to the record is the next best thing to seeing a live video.
