From: What We Did On Our Holidays; Year: 1969; Genre: Rock/Folk Rock
Had a hankering for some early Fairport Convention music this morning. This is among the songs from the album which was authored by a member of the band, this instance it was Richard Thompson, who played a variety of instruments and vocals.
It's a rather upbeat and pure fun track with some interesting rhythmic ideas and different time signatures that make it oddly enough a joy to dance along with and/or to just sit back and enjoy listening to it.
