5593. Parliament - The Goose
From: Up For The Down Stroke; Year: 1974 Genre: Funk/Soul |
I really wish there were more of these extra long funk tracks in existence; it's just that much better to keep that funky groove going. Although, this one was apparently cut into two songs for the single release, but is the full 9+ minutes on the album. Also, The Goose was originally a song from George Clinton's predecessor doo-wop group The Parliaments, but was re-worked and made extremely funky for the second Parliament studio record.
