From: Original Golden Hits-Volume 1; Year: 1969 (1957); Genre: Rock 'n Roll/Rockabilly
Yesterday I saw that pioneer rock 'n roller Jerry Lee Lewis passed away; thought it'd be a good time to choose one of his songs. This is one of his more famous early singles that was actually a cover originally recorded by Big Maybelle two years prior. Chances are that most people alive today have heard either version at the very least one time in their lives; he certainly displayed that wild energy he was famous for even through the record as it plays.
