6167. Three Dog Night - Pieces of April

It is the final pick of April, and I have to remark that this one really drag by; most of the time months seem to zoom by, but not this one.
Anyway, this cover of the song originally written and recorded by Dave Loggins just seemed like an absolutely splendid pick. Pieces of April is rather unique as well as apparently only vocalist Chuck Negron sang on it with the other two lead singers absent, apparently making it one of only two hit singles by Three Dog Night to feature only a single singer.
