Boy, it's been another quite busy day and am later than normal for this pick.
Anyway, this is another time that I'm picking on from a band that I haven't picked on from in quite a while. It's been way over 2500 picks ago that I chose my last song from the band Garbage; don't know why I haven't picked one since then because I actually like the band. Here's one of my favourites of their songs and off of  their first album as well as one of their first singles.

This one is a standard from during the height of The War, originally written by Harold Arlen and Johnny Mercer. From wot I understand the title and main idea of the song was borrowed from a sermon by a popular preacher at the time, Father Divine , which translated very well into an upbeat song. Anyway, I have had this concept record by Paul Kantner and company on my mind off and on over the last bit and decided now would be a good time to choose another track from it. This is the "grand finale" of the "space opera" concept, which features a big group of who's who from the folk rock scene at the time contributing on this track and a few others. Starship features the lead guitar of the late-great Jerry Garcia, although you really wouldn't need to be told that because it is so obvious his sound and style.
