Been under a heat advisory for almost a week now, and it's only about to get ever hotter; well above 100f/40c. Through this hot and dry spell, I have had this cover of the song originally from Arrow by the alter-ego of New York Dolls' singer David Johansen: Buster Poindexter on the brain a bit. Hot Hot Hot is one of those songs that kind of exemplifies the 1980s popular culture. Whilst quite dated as a result, that Calypso and Samba sound makes it one that can be played at most higher energy events no matter the clientele.
