From: Oogum Boogum; Year: 1967; Genre: Soul/R&B
Gimme Little Sign has a distinction, (for me at least), in which some of it's best attributes are actually a bit of a liability. Don't get me wrong, I love the song and such, but that infectious melody can really, really, really stuck in your head, and that's just after one listening. A sign of great writing and arranging on Brenton Wood's and co's. part. Other than that it's a great track across the board, and that fabulous organ solo is the cherry on top.
