From: The Jethro Tull Christmas Album; Year: 2003; Genre: Progressive Rock/classical/Christmas Music
Well, it's Christmas Eve once again, and ever since this album came out I have been playing it every year due to the obvious nature of the material within. However, this time I've only gotten around to listen to it today, so I'm a bit behind schedule or so it would seem.
Anyway, I've never been too sure as to the nature of this song, if it's a cover or had a basis in another piece. From what I have been able to find is that it's apparently an original track written in musical style that is a Pavane. Whatever the case, it's a nice seasonal tune suitable for listening on this Christmas holiday.
